Hi, Raspbmc seems to be your problem. It’s designed for multimedia and has many of the usual Linux networking tools removed. As a ‘noob’ you’re unfortunately out of luck as Raspbmc does not support VPN. If you need VPN I suggest using Raspbian Linux on your Pi instead.
